Help pick a Community Project for Leadership Class 23

This year Leadership Council Bluffs is initiating Community Trustee Projects as part of the program's curriculum in order for leadership class participants to better understand their role as community trustees while helping non-profit organizations in this area. These projects are intended to provide local agencies with an opportunity to make advances in the mission of their non-profit organization by utilizing the skills and interest of selected members of the leadership class. We encourage you to participate by completing the enclosed request for proposal (RFP) or forwarding this information on to a non-profit organization you think could use this type of volunteer assistance. Projects should be short-term in their scope (October-April) so that Leadership Council Bluffs participants can complete their project prior to their graduation in May 2010. The application and examples provide some guidelines on the focus of these projects. They may not include fund raising. If you do not currently think you could propose a suitable project but know of another or agency who may, please feel free to share this information with them.
